Latin superstar Frankie Negron's talents and accomplishments almost contradict his young age. A grammy nominated artist, Frankie got his start on Broadway in Paul Simon's CAPEMAN while still in his teens. After conquering the world of salsa, something that was challenging since he grew up in Newark, NJ speaking English, Frankie released his first English speaking album, INDEPENDENCE DAY on Airgo Records. INDEPENDENCE DAY got high marks by esteemed music critics for the New York Times, John Pareles as well as his legions of fans who may have been a bit nervous that they were losing him to pop music. This was not the case, as it seemed Frankie doubled his fan base with the release and his touring to support it. Frankie's single, "No Reply," penned by American Idol winner David Cook and word renowned songwriters (and ex-Idol judge Kara Dioguardi and John Fields (Miley Cyrus), brought him to the forefront of pop music after years as a leader in salsa, The multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated Latin artist was featured as part of a story line on soap opera "One Life to Live," performing his romantic ballad ‘Holding on to Love.’ While it may have been difficult for some singers to make the transition from salsa superstar to top 40 artist, his pre-pop fans followed him, making Frankie a cross-over artist in the true sense.

Follow the rules above to enter the drawing and Moco will pick TWO WINNERS at random from the entries received to win a pair of tickets to see salsa star Frankie Negron on June 29th at the Malaya Nightclub, Lawrence, MA.
