Today about 30 of us left camp to hike to the top of Beacon Rock in the Columbia Gorge on the Washington side. These switchbacks were part of the trail leading to the top of this enormous 800 foot tall rock overlooking the Columbia Gorge. My legs feel like jelly tubes after the climb but I'm happy I took the time to climb!
