Columbia River seen from Beacon Rock
The Columbia River is about 1 mile wide near where it flows into the Pacific Ocean.

Amazing to see !
This is the mighty Columbia River looking eastward from Beacon Rock in Washington State. The Columbia River begins in British Columbia, Canada, flows through eastern Washington then turns and flows westward to the Pacific Ocean. It forms a natural boundary between Oregon & Washington and was part of Lewis & Clark's journey.
